Liberty and Security of the Person are inalienable rights. 'Life' doesn't somehow supersede that – they are co-equal, so if there's a conflict, it ends where my body begins. It is my right not to indenture myself, and risk my life and health in the process, even at the risk of someone else's life. A fetus is not entitled to extra-human rights.
The government needs to stop making laws and regulations based on a religious beliefs, this is something a dictatorship does, not a democracy like America.
Use real words for real issues! It's not called pro-life, it's called restraining women, the abortion issue is coincidental. And they think that undermining the medical profession is a reasonable price for keeping women in "their place". Without the real words, solutions become obscure.

I was once a pro-abortion activist until I watched an abortion in 3D on screen. You can literally see the expression of pain on the baby's face. If it is a life-threatening issue, I would understand. I would understand if it involved a rap victim, and I would understand if it were a developmental issue regarding the baby. But to simply abort your unborn child simply due to a person being irresponsible, shouldn't be something we as a people should ever consider.
