I had a Chow that would grab & hold….tho she never drew blood. She just didn't allow anyone jumping our fence or coming into my house….I had to let you in, then, she just laid around peacefully watching that I was safe.
I could lay a steak on the floor & she wouldn't touch it 'til.I told her to, even for hrs & I left home.
She was remarkably tender with my Parrot, Cat & tiny Poodle.
