I have terrible problems with such question 'is American Democracy working'. Because yes, Biden won in 2020 with a very great margin in the popular vote, but really very small in the electoral college. And the same for the 2022 elections where republicans won the House, thanks to their gerrymandering, but Democrats kept the Senate because gerrymandering doesn't weigh that much in Senate voting. So overall I would say that if there was more democracy, democrats would have won the house also. Reasons to VOTE BLUE!
