    AI evangelists cheering on singularity like it's the answer to all of man's woes. AI will be a perfect example of end stage capitalism and the greed and sloth that accompanies it

    So misinformed. Do you know how the banks work now? Do you even know the first thing about AI or the thousands of other use cases? Talking heads don't seem to know anything about technology, they can just say "wake up" and scare people.

    Once your currency is digitised then any foreign hacker can close down your entire economy at the press of a button. (Wonder which country working hard to replace America as the world's number one industrial, military, political, and financial super-power might be planning on doing just that…?)

    Has anyone told Trump that all of his currency is already 100% digital? No one uses cash anymore. As for AI being scary, Trump pushed to have companies dump money into AI research to stay competitive with the other nations. I still think that decision was 100% correct, and it is still the correct course. AI isn't scary at all. Is it going to completely change the way we live and do things? Absolutely, this is the 4th industrial revolution, and eventually it will have a greater impact than the internet. That's not bad. Even if it does take all our jobs, that's still not bad. Then we can redefine what economy means in a post-labor world where everyone is retired from birth, and work is 100% optional.

    The first and most important thing we can do is don’t automatically believe anything that comes through a digital device.

    Add to that the second thing is Blockchain .
