I was at ground zero when the first plane hit – fucking horrifying. I stayed long enough, waiting for my sister to get out of the building (thankfully she did, she’s alive and well now) and then the second plane hit. Awful, awful day.

We can't ignore Saudi Arabia, there are necessary ties there. Foreign policy makes strange "bed follows" and it's unfortunate that sometimes deals with the "devils" have to be made. The timing of this was unfortunate and even if if had to be done at that time, at the G20, it's too bad that it had to be publicized during the remembrance of that terrible day.
As a Saudi I would like to share my condolences to the victims of the Sept 11, to the innocents hard worker people who lived there and to their families.
Terrorism has no nationality, just like a virus, those people who did it, they never been proud even a bit of their own country.
