Yeah that's an expensive restaurant there at in Bozeman That's an extremely expensive restaurant in Bozeman what's really scary is she has the inability to speak her mind and say what she knows is the truth The other thing is why on earth is she talking in question form like she is afraid to get told she's wrong I swear the younger generation the way that they talk like that is just scary

The older generation did not earn the salaries that the young people do now. We also lived through the Carter Years when interest rates were 13% to buy a house! Goods were cheaper but salaries were drastically less.

Supposed to turn the other cheek when you get slapped with an airport booze bill.

As a real patriot, that served my country, I am incensed by the programming on Fox News. The network is one of the top contributors to the demise of our democracy.

If things were as hard on her, why eat out? When things are hard for me, I cook my own meals. It sucks, but it allows me to save money.

Reading between the lines, working for The NY Times forces you to drink multiple double whiskeys 🥃 with your lunch, so you can proudly proclaim yourself an “Upper middle class journalist” although that’s not the first term that comes to mind.

    FAIR Take | September 2023

The August 2023 Employment Situation survey from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) drew far more media attention than normal for a monthly economic publication, and for good reason. The survey shows that over 1.2 million native-born Americans lost jobs from July to August 2023. However, over the same period, nearly 700,000 new jobs went to foreign-born workers and boosted foreign-born employment to a record high. This dramatic difference is the product of an immigration system that is not delivering for hardworking American citizens, and a closer look at the long-term trend is even more ominous.

Individual months can show huge swings in employment because of factors like seasonal jobs. But this particular divide from July to August may foreshadow more bad news. The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant effect on the job market and caused employment numbers to crash for both native-born American workers and the foreign-born. The highest ever pre-COVID monthly total of American-born workers was recorded in October 2019. In that month, 131.7 million native-born Americans were employed. Economic recovery for American-born workers has been slow, and since the start of the pandemic that total has only been passed twice: in June and July 2023. As it stands right now, native-born Americans have lost a net 700,000 jobs over five years and full recovery, let alone growth, is yet to come.

Congress is set to debate and pass an appropriations bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security for Fiscal Year 2024. The Senate and House of Representatives have different spending bills, each with harmful provisions that exacerbate Biden’s open-border agenda and radical immigration policies.

Below is an outline of what the Senate and House spending bills include, along with specific points related to guestworker provisions that will harm American workers.

Only increases Border Patrol by 145 officers — while additional Border Patrol agents would normally be helpful, Senate Democrats are adding them so there are more agents to process illegal aliens and release them into the U.S.

Provides no money for wall construction and stronger physical barriers to deter mass illegal immigration.

Keeps the number of detention beds at 34,000, falling short compared to previous Trump Administration levels of around 50,000.

Provides $14.1 million for the Case Management Pilot Program, an ineffective Alternative to Detention program that provides services to illegal aliens, including legal access programs, social services, health screenings, and cultural orientation programs.

Provides over $455 million for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), which manages the legal immigration system. In doing so, it is using taxpayer dollars to fund an agency that has long been funded through fees on those who actually apply for the benefits.

Allows the DHS Secretary to increase the H-2B visa cap at his discretion, thus dramatically increasing the number of foreign workers who would be allowed to enter the United States under the program.

Fails to address the abuse of asylum and parole authority, and does nothing to end the shell game being played by the Biden Administration.

Maintains the status quo to continue at the expense of America’s sovereignty, security and safety.

    January 20, 2021

Since the creation of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2003, the federal government has spent an estimated $333 billion on the agencies that carry out immigration enforcement. As Congress renews its focus on immigration enforcement and border security under the Biden administration, it is important to review how much money has already been spent on these initiatives and what outcomes have been produced.

Immigration enforcement spending largely falls into two issue areas: border security and interior enforcement. Border spending includes staffing and resources needed for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), an agency of DHS working at and between United States ports of entry. Interior enforcement is primarily focused on staffing and resources for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), also part of DHS, to apprehend noncitizens in the interior of the country, detain those undergoing removal proceedings, and deport those ordered removed.

Currently, the number of border and interior enforcement officers stands at more than 50,000, with ICE and CBP employing over 84,000 people in total. The number of U.S. Border Patrol agents nearly doubled from Fiscal Year (FY) 2003 to FY 2019. Additionally, the number of ICE agents devoted to its office of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) nearly tripled from FY 2003 to FY 2019. In FY 2019, DHS employed more than 8,200 ERO officers.

The younger generation always blames the older generations, instead of blaming themselves for how they voted. A whole lot of democrats dont want to admit voting for Biden.
