    The Bill embraces all GoP desires. Trump doesn’t want a Biden win in an Election Year? Dems supported the Cares Act in 2020 an Election Year) in good faith to help Americans. Trump opted to send out the checks to recipients with his name on it.     5000 migrants is necessary to just maintain our population. That is only 1.5 million people a year. Presidents have been doing it for decades just to keep a viable workforce.

    You know all those millions of people that came in the last few years? That was under the TRUMP Title-42 border plan. SCOTUS forced us to stay on the Trump plan until MAY 2023 thanks to covid. So, we've got a huge backlog of people that need to see judges to be deported. That's why we need more judges, because of the backlog. Meanwhile, we've been on the Biden plan for all of 7 months, but can't even get rid of the people who came in under the Trump plan – because the do-nothing House won't pass the border budget and let us hire more judges so we can get rid of the backlog.

    I don't like the border bill 100% either, but this is how Congress works. You have to get things PASSED by both houses. You can't just scream that you want Trump's policies back when you don't have control over the three branches of government. You have to govern which means compromise and take what you can. Get the compromise. Fund Ukraine. Go harder on the border if you get the votes next election.
