I find it very frustrating to hear a spokesperson for the Pentagon declare Ukraine’s right to defend themself due to Russia’s attack that pulled them in to a war, and in the same briefing within minutes speak, as if with strength, about the rules the US has dictated to Israel in regards to how they conduct themselves following being attacked by Hamas and pulled in to war. The fact that Hamas and Israel are neighbors should not warrant this difference in expectations. I would think if any level of difference be warranted, it should be with the country fighting to recover hostages from their brutal enemy that openly vows continued attacks. Such an obvious play.
