That was the point of lockdowns. Preparing populations for 15-minute cities. Also, it will be less of an impact when they realise that owning a car will be limited to the few.

When is the criminal RICO Donald Trump’s fraud proceeds gonna be auctioned? Trump is free to run and free to get thrown out of any state election, thanks to section 3 of 14th Amendment. Meaning, it doesn’t matter what Trump cult members think.

For people’s mental health, they need to realize that a separation between work and home life is necessary. Lots of people pretend they’re better off working from home – a huge majority of them have no idea how much harm it does. Besides, why are you so happy giving your employer free office space????

I'd be good with a hybrid. 3 days home and 2 days in the office. If I'm needed in the office an extra day here or there that would be fine.

0% of my job description necessitates the need for a large corporate office, daily commute, nor the collaboration amongst peers from other departments. Therefore I will never be returning to the old hat mentality. I realize that isn't going to work for every profession, but it certainly does for both mine and my wife. The cost savings annually is a raise by itself. Good luck to everyone.

I’d like to see the productivity numbers, willing to bet they’re down . I’d also add it will be the end of cities, no workers eating lunch, purchasing goods means real estate will crash with multiple vacancies. Show me one landlord who won’t request lower tax rates for their empty property.

Yea well they should s be mandated back to work because at home they get paid for 8 hours and you'll be lucky if they work 4

It benefits employers as well. For one, you are not restricted to hiring people that work physically close to your office, so the pool of talent you have to pick from is much larger.

You can pay them less too, it is the law of supply and demand. More supply is less demand, less cost.

Additionally you need less real estate, which is expensive.

I don't care what anyone says. There's no way people will get more work done from home because they won't have their bosses looking over their shoulders, making sure they don't screw around. Anyone who supports this new fad is a bum at heart. Plain and simple.

I work from home and I can tell you that I'm much happier BUT, I work 10 times harder, I make less per hour, and I'm pulling 10 1/2 hour days five days a week…I've produced for this company for two years and next month I'm actually up for a HUGH promotion and if I get it, salary pay for me, which is a 10,000.00 per year increase. So, I don't miss going into an office and dealing with 'office politics' not one little bit

If it works for that company great. This is about control and companies lost it with the pandemic bc now people know a lot of jobs can be from hm when employers used cost etc as an excuse not to. Not everyone can do this it should be an incentive or a person loses that privilege if production drops.
