Born and raised in San Francisco I remember her campaigns for supervisor. She became Chair of the Board of Supervisors bc she received the most votes. No one gave two thoughts about her ever becoming Mayor.
Everybody remembers that most horrid week of Jonestown massacre and the Moscone & Milk murders.
In what seemed like a single moment California voted out barely competent senators and gained two hot shot women as senators, who lived only 25 minutes apart.

The problem is that if they oust McCarthy, someone even more extreme will end up taking his place, and then the shutdown could last until 2025. You think that someone like Chip Roy would allow any bipartisan deal to pass? He’d rather keep the government shut down. It’s better to keep McCarthy there with the concession that he’ll pass bipartisan legislation to keep the government open through the end of this congress.

"After the signing of the Canada–United States Free Trade Agreement in 1988, the administrations of [Republican] U.S. president George H. W. Bush, Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari, and Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney agreed to negotiate what became NAFTA." NAFTA resulted in the loss of 700,000 jobs as production moved to Mexico, where workers were paid less than their U.S. counterparts. NAFTA has lead to a U.S. trade deficit with Mexico and Canada where more goods and services are imported into the U.S. than exported.

WOW. That stat Rep. Boyle started with is astonishing and needs to be broadcast, by the media, every chance you get. Those are the types of facts the media fails to equip us with (often) that are imperative for Americans to consider. If you aren't equipping Americans with FACTS – not opinions.. FACTS – that are important to determining their vote, then you can't turn around and ask, why are there so many people willing to vote for trump, or against their own interests, or etc.

Excellent…. So… Trump said to burn it down…. And some ppl think there is nothing to worry about. People don't truly understand what this country would be like if he gets back in the WH. It would be like 1939,1940 Germany!!! Hitler, who Trump idolizes, was the single person who created WW2…. And the horror that came from that war.. That's what it would be. No more voting, no more freedom, political assassination'of political figures, death camps…. Total HORROR!!! VOTE BLUE UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT. ONLY WAY TO SAVE OUR DEMOCRACY AND OUR COUNTRY!! 🌊💙🌊💙✌️🍿
